No Niche? No Problem
Let’s talk about the “niche down” advice you’ve probably heard 184737 times on social media.
There’s some truth: you’re more likely to grow your business if you find a specialized segment in the market (erm, niche) — but if you’re a PERSONAL BRAND...then that “special thing” is YOU and YOU are NOT one-dimensional!
If finding one specific niche (looking at you, multi-passionates) is driving you bananas, then try this:
Dig into your personal story — where are the milestones, challenges, defining moments or themes?
Think about what you’re passionate about building or creating — bonus points if you have a vision
Think about the things you’re an expert in — by career choice or personal experiences
Figure out the market “need” or the service/transformation you want to create for your community
THEN, find the common link between them all. What common purpose or mission brings them together?
Boom. You’ve got something that sets you apart from the next person who’s in your category — you are now a niche. I listed ways your personal brand can be a niche in this reel!
Everything you create and put out into the world from there just needs to always be in alignment to that mission.
